I'm fairly certain the 3DS doesn't have GBA support, broseph.

Unfortunately, 3DS games are unlikely to work on a DS Lite.

It's not necessarily a 3DS (only) game. I'm just saying it should be taking advantage of the system. And I think 3DS games are Lite compatable, since you can turn off the 3D effect on a DS anyways...

The upper screen on the 3DS has a higher resolution than the DS, so it still wouldn't fit.

Also the 3DS is supposed to be a lot more powerful than the DS.

It would make no sense to make a DS with just 3D. No one would buy that.

I meant who would buy a regular DS with just added 3D. I don't see why you'd prefer buying that over a brand new handheld.

Well the Lite also had a brighter screen, slightly bigger screen, and better battery.

Plus, I like the feel of it more than the phat, and I think it's prettier. So...whatever.

JUST putting 3D on the same old handheld seems stupid to me at this point. Had they put 3D on the Lite when the Lite came out, then I wouldn't feel like it would be that stupid.

Well it's not JUST putting 3D on it, it's putting 3D and an analogue joystick--Err... joynub. Plus, it almost certainly will have better battery life (In 2D mode, anyway) and a still bigger screen. All of that I'd say was worth more (Not that it matters, I'm just saying the DS Classic--Not Phat--was just fine the way it was and the Lite was a stupid, uncomfortable derp)

I never liked holding the old DS. Just like I never liked holding the old GBA. Both always just felt too big to me.

Generally, sure. But it's like saying "OLD SKOOL GAMING LOLZ". It just seems like an insult to a classic.

It's like Coca Cola, they didn't change the name to Old Coke when New Coke came out, they just started referring to it as what it was, Coca Cola Classic.

That's just because they realized that New Coke was nasty and wanted to emphasize that they were going back to the previous recipe.

New Coke was actually pretty delicious, and in all blind taste tests, better tasting than Coke Classic. People just don't like change.
