Yes news.

So I'm a huge fan of Case Closed, but I do prefer the English dub, because that is what I first watched and first enjoyed. I watched like 80 episodes of the show before even considering watching it in Japanese...so...I prefer to watch my Conan in English. And I would love to see the show succeed in English, since it's such a good show, even if you're not a fan of anime...it's universal Sherlock Holmes styled stories, for the most part.

So it makes me really happy to bring the new that, there are going to be more episodes dubbed in English! :D

On Adult Swim, they only aired 83ish episodes, I do believe. Recently Funimation has been releasing the show in seasons, about 40 bucks a season, there have been three releases so far. On February 19th they'll release the next season, season 4, which will have episodes 80 to 105! :D

22 more episodes in English, released in America? Yes please~

I hope the DVD sales are good enough to have Funimation continue to dub and release the show in America.

That, sir, is most sweet. I myself prefer them in Japanese, but I've only been able to download up to episode 90 (though I also have the 83 dubbed episodes on DVD). Since there are, what, 400-some episodes, that's not nearly enough, so I'll definitely be getting the new ones when they come out. :3
Hopefully they keep on going and release more seasons after this one.~

I wonder if they plan on releasing any more of the movies...they've just released the first two... :/

If I remember right they stopped mid craziness. I remember watching Adult swim. They stopped it and restarted it after the fist ep of a two part, where in conan was about to be or was exposed to the girl.

Am I correct about this or is my brain being a durty little lier.

Well, he almost is, just not in any two-part cases so far. The four-part case is even called "Jimmy Kudo Revealed," so that's probably where he got the idea.

Maybe he got the idea from one of the episodes where Rachel hallucinates Jimmy, like Billionaire Birthday Blues (which I just watched today) where she thinks he rescues her from nearly being drowned.

EDIT: It feels strange to call them by their English names instead of Shinichi and Ran. o.o

I didn't know there were so many episodes not in English... Jeez, I loved this show so much, even though the plot was kind of tired and you could see who did it from a mile away, it was just a fun and cool series.

I should be getting movie 4 in the mail within the next couple days. <3
But I still haven't seen movie 3 since I want to watch it with my mom, and she just got back from California yesterday.
