The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

And, like every other Beryl user, I had to show off the fancy beryl cube thingy. You know you're jealous.

My computer would probably suck too bad to use Beryl...

And yes, it is kind of useless, but my desktop alone can entertain me for quite some time
And to answer your question Arutha, beryl adds pretty affects throughout the desktop, by adding window effects, transparency, the cube thingy. Here's an example. <-- Yes, everyone is overly-obsessed with the cube.
Oh, and to Hyperlisk and Eyre, it really doesn't take up too much system resources and whatnot...unless you turn on everything and then try to make things transparent like in the video.
It does have 1 time-saving feature, which allows you to pull up all open windows and organize them all prettifully which allows you to choose which one you want. They do that a couple times in the video...

I like things clean and in order.
As do I. what's the cool taskbar~ish thing at the bottom though? I've never seen it before, 'tis quite awesome. I'm currently in the process of trying to find a decent dock/taskbar for linux, everything i've tried so far is a tad too glitchy or ugly though...

Why kopete? Cuz I was playing around with it. Pidgin is still better. But Pidgin is too bland. I miss trillian.
