That's weird. All Witnesses I've ever met may not have approved of Christmas, but they had nothing against it. Maybe he was just butthurt that he never got presents.

My uncle is a Jehova's Witness, and his kids were not allowed to eat birthday cupcakes. Judging from what you and monkey have said, not all JWs are created equal.No they don't. That's just ignorant.They even forbid their kids from eating any birthday snacks that their classmates bring to school.

The only event pokemon I've gotten is the relatively recent Deoxys from Gamestop.

they should add afternoon to the day/night system. then you could have leftover nocturnal pokemon in the morning, and fishing would be harder in the middle of the day.
also, is there a way to do a gameshark kinda deal on the ds? otherwise i have no idea how to get mew/celebi/deoxys/arceus

Only things I've gotten from events is that key you need to access the room that let's you change rotom's form and the letter that let's you catch Shaymin.

I never got any events because by the time I got Diamond and Pearl the events had pretty much run dry, and they were only doing stupid little event pokemon that are rare but not impossible to find.

I know that sometimes it's possible to send event keycards to friends online, but I've never been able to figure it out. =/
