I dunno if this is the appropriate place but i dont think it matters much on MP :P

I got a harddrive for christmas so I took my wii apart and started from scratch with my hacks this weekend. It's now loaded with REV 14, The latest version of CIOS249, and all the extra stuff to support game .bnr files as channels.

It took me an entire weekend because I have a considerable amount of games and deciding which ones to actually channel-ize was a pain in the ass because i've got so many and they won't all fit >.>

its not the size of the harddrive that's a problem :P its the limited channel slots available on the wii that makes it a problem. there are way more games on the harddrive than there are on this channel list :P
the wii only has 48 open channel slots - atleast 4 of which I need to keep for disc channel, homebrew, wad manager and gecko OS

If you run the wad manager or gecko from the homebrew channel, you win 2 extra slots!

I've never seen a themed Home screen like that, is that from BootMii?

Also, Mr. Christo, http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Gecko , although I only used it for running codeset stuff for Brawl+

yeah but there's no need for 2 extra slots. i dont really even want half of those games on the channel list anyway, they were just there for show for that particular video :P

no more heroes 2 will earn a slot and tatsunoko vs capcom will be replaced with the american versio soon as its out

blu you should look into soft modding if you want themes :) they're simple to install. just like wads, you just usea different program

Ho-ly shit that's badass. Since you seem to be pretty adept at modding the Wii, how easy is it to get some of those fancy game-channel thingies, considering my Wii is only softmodded (but I have ISOs!)?

When TvC comes out I'll prolly stop being lazy enough to get whatever it is that lets me get games free. As of now I only have HB channel, Gecko, and Brawl+/vB with textures.

Just another comment though. i do purchase most of these games. Out of the 50 or so I have, I own 42 legit copies.
I just don't care to buy a game unless I liked it. Not to mention it's a MUST to pirate them if I want them on my usb loader. =/

actually no XD never seen soul eater - just youtube'd "brawl anime" and got that as a result then used my knowledge of brawl junk to see if i could replace the opening video wtih it - i succeeded after about an hour haha

Here's my own personal alternate stage loader set up - Also featured in this video is my own revision of Asf1ink's custom flaming blue custom character select screen

So I think my Wii was updated to system menu 4.2U when I wasn't looking, and I'm hearing all kinds of things like you can't play backups or load from USB now. I tried installing some wads with Wad Manager 1.6 and it was not working at all. Of course I kind of forgot what IOS I installed, so...I donno. Any ideas?

edit: Er, nevermind. I don't know where I'm getting my information from. I just started over from scratch and I'm back to pirating games now!
