"Magnetic Telephone" or, a mashup of Lady Gaga's single with Alestorm's "Magnetic North." Not sure why Lady Gaga and pirate metal mesh so well, but I also don't care, because this is more than a little awesome.
Making it extra awesome is the fact that the frontman for Alestorm is the one who made it, not just a random fan.

"Surface Raid" by Dreadnaught. I have no damn clue what kind of music it is either, it kind of...is there a word for something the moves around between disco, western, ska, rock, and who knows what else? Besides "confused," anyway?

So, I've been going through Zebrahead's discography today (if you somehow haven't heard of them, listen to them, they have a lot of music, so there's a decent chance you'll find something you like), and this one particular song got me pumped. Nothing overly special, but it's nice to have something that makes me feel happy.
Dropping down a well that time forgot
With scars that show that we care a lot
In the sky we dreamt like a juggernaut
Of the things we'd do and what we saught

Ooh, Zebrahead. If you haven't managed to pick up the "Panty Raid" album yet, good luck. It got pulled pretty much everywhere, likely due to copyright complaints (it was an album entirely made up of covers from famous female artists). And they were GOOD covers.
Case in point:

I saw them open for The Decemberists, twice last week. The first time I didn't care much, the second time I found myself enjoying them a lot more, and now I've spent most of the week listening to their one album. They're growing on me. I don't think they're like amazing or anything, but I do like them quite a bit now.
