Your video links tend to have silly things like "https" and "youtu.be" in them. Fix those, and you should be able to embed things just fine with [media] tags.

I'm actually thinking less time than they usually take for this stuff. (They do it every year.) If only because it's the same three sets on repeat this time around.

Dude come on, you know how long it takes to make even a decent light show, let alone one with 8000+ coordinated bulbs. I'm guessing laying the lights alone was probably an all day affair, and that's assuming the guy had at least two others on the build. The programming? Probably fairly easy since, like Kamau said, they're experienced.
