Not quite a game, but Game Maker Studio upgrade to Professional from Standard is $25. Just put in your license key on this page. Pretty sure almost everyone here has a key from awhile ago when they gave them out for free.

That reminds me that I should actually open up Game Maker

Basically $22 in Amazon coins for free, alongside a bunch of premium camera apps and GTA: San Andreas

Mario Kart 8 Wii U Deluxe 32GB Console

In my opinion this is a really good deal because of a couple things that come bundled in with it. With Mario Kart 8 (whether you buy this bundle or the game separately) you also get a free game download. Your choices are: New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, and Wii Party U. The first two are $60 new and the latter two are $50. I would recommend against getting a downloaded copy of Wii Party U because a new, boxed copy comes bundled with a Wii Remote Plus which is $40. So really a $10 game. With the Mario Kart Wii U bundle you also get a Wii Remote Plus plus the steering wheel. So for $330 you get: Wii U + Mario Kart 8 + $60 game + Wii Remote Plus

If you bought that separately it would be $300 for a new Wii U (but you would get Nintendo Land (but that's only like $20)), $60 for Mario Kart 8 (but again you still get that free game download) and $40 for the Wii Remote Plus. If you go get Nintendo Land for the Mario Kart bundle, which I plan to do because it has some fun games, then it's $350 for the bundle and $400 to buy the components separately.

I care about getting the Wii Remotes because I intend to do local multiplayer. I have a Wii Remote Plus that someone gave me as a gift a month after my Wii broke and I have been holding on to it just in case of a day like this. I'll get another remote with this bundle and when I intend to buy Wii Party U for fun time with friends which will bring me up to 3 Wii Remote controllers. I made a spread sheet to figure out what would be the cheapest way to get all the games and necessary controllers and the Mario Kart 8 bundle came out the winner. Now I just need to figure out if I get a Pro Controller (because let's face it, the remote not that great of a controller for a lot of games like say Mario Kart), a fourth Wii Remote for local multiplayer games, or both.

So yeah, Mario Kart 8 Wii U Bundle is a smoking deal if you ask me.

That's an okay deal but there's been better deals on the Wii U. Like recently there was a Skylanders/Nintendoland bundle on Buy.com for $200 (which most likely would be tax free, and is regularly the price for it). You can get deals on Mario Kart 8 (like Best Buy has a $10 gas card with it...after discounts and whatever I'm paying like $18 for Mario Kart) and Wiimotes are cheap (Nintendo sells ones refurbished with Nunchucks for $20). There was also recently a new Deluxe version with Lego City/Nintendoland on Buy.com for $250 and Nintendo is always selling refurbished Deluxe versions with Nintendoland for $200 on their website.

I hope that version sells units but I think making the Wii U more expensive is kind of a bad idea. But if you don't have one and not willing to wait around for a deal it's good.

I am excited for Mario Kart though.

ohhh and it might not be worth it for others but for Wii stuff, you can pick up super cheap stuff on Shopgoodwill.com (or Goodwills in general). I got a Wii U Pro Controller, Wiimote Plus, and Classic controller for $30ish. All basically brand new, just in beat up boxes. Although shipping does kill on that site sometimes, luckily my girlfriend's sister lives close enough to one that sells a lot of this stuff and just picks it up for me. Toys R Us (in store) is also a really good place to get stuff right now, with their clearance. I bought a battery extender for $7 and the official cradle for the gamepad for $2. There's other stuff too that isn't super interesting.

Also there's this:

http://www.bestbuy.c...gizer&cp=1&lp=1

Which is a good deal just for those rechargeable wiimote batteries.

Also also, if you want to get Nintendoland, this might be a better buy than the Wii Party U:

Double not about Wii junk post:

Best Buy is going to sell their Gamer's Club Unlocked for $60 starting 5/25 again

So so worth it if you buy games new...especially close to release date.

Just the other day their was a glitch or something for GCU people for PS3/360 games (buy two get one 70% off and the other 50%. I made up that $60 with that glitch, nothing more than $24 (Final Fantasy X/X-2 SE, Diablo III, Dynasty Warriors 8XL, and Tales of Xillia 2 preorder...$100 savings, saved more than I paid). I wish Persona 4 Arena Ultimax was up then...

It lasts for 2 years, and Best Buy's website is notorious for weird glitches like that. Not to mention Best Buy usually does $10 pre order bonuses for bigger games. So it's about $48 for a brand new game for bigger titles.

Damn, you're right on all accounts. I didn't think Nintendo would go so low on prices for refurbished items. Doing the refurbished thru Nintendo and if I get this item on Goodwill will drop my total price by $120. Just....damn. I've gotten rusty with the internet.

In case anyone is interested in Watch Dogs:

http://www.bestbuy.c...00079&lp=1&cp=1

Preorder and get a $10 GC and $20 off another select game.

Thinking of doing it and getting Drakengard, since with my GCU that would be $24 and Watch Dogs would be $48, and I could just trade in Watch Dogs...but I don't trust it into keeping it's trade in value (currently on Amazon it's $33 and it's not even really out yet).

I'm kiiind of interested in Watch Dogs, but no reviews are concerning, and the fact that most Ubisoft games haven't been holding their value lately (ACIV, South Park), I'll just wait until it's cheaper and I know what it's worth to me.

Today is the last day of the Humble Daily Bundle, and they are going out with a bang.

https://www.humblebundle.com/

Today is the Humble Total War Bundle.

$7 gets you the Napoleon: Total War Collection

$25 gets you the Master Collection (Empire: Total War, Medieval II: Total War, Napoleon: Total War, Rome: Total War, Total War Battles: SHOGUN, Total War: SHOGUN 2, Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai and Viking: Battle of Asgard. - 139 dollar value)

$45 gets you the Grandmaster Collection (Empire: Total War, Medieval II: Total War, Napoleon: Total War, Rome: Total War, Total War Battles: SHOGUN, Total War: SHOGUN 2, Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samuraiand Viking: Battle of Asgard, plus 20 pieces of DLC! - Over 200 dollar value)

The Daily Bundle has been largely disappointing (maybe 3 or 4 bundles at most, worth buying) but this last one makes it all worth it if you are willing to shell out 25 or 45 dollars (I'm not, but I appreciate the offer all the same).

My excuse was it's more worth it than buying the Legendary Edition or DLC for Skyrim.

This is an alright deal too:

http://www.bestbuy.c...se-offer-124249

Thinking about it because I need a new mouse. Kind of not wanting to get it because I really don't need $50 in Steam cash.
