Brendon Small's Galaktikon is excellent. it's a high stakes prog metal space opera by the guys who play Dethklok's music.

Also, I'm pretty sure Brendon Small does all the music for Dethklok himself. The bulk of the voices, too, unless something changed recently.

I probably wouldn't have listened to something like this if I wasn't a fan of Metalocalypse/Home Movies, but I kinda liked it. Brendon Small is a talented dude.

Though for much more epic music, I just stumbled across this band, Rebellion. This is "Asgard" from their 2009 album.

And I must watch them closely, because they sound amazing.
