Yesterday after work I bought Broken Bells...because the CD had been sitting there forever and I get a discount so, yeah.
So all I have been listening to is that. I'm glad I gave it another listen, it's a pretty solid album. Even if it may not be the best thing either James Mercer (Chutes too Narrow) or Danger Mouse (Either St. Elsewhere or Demon Days, hard to choose) has ever done.

Lately I've mostly just been listening to a lot of Muse. Not really sure where that came from (other than the albums being cheap on amazon..).

So, Menomena's new album has actually really grown on me. I still don't think it's as great as their other stuff (that bar is set pretty high, in my opinion) but I really like it. I basically like anything these guys do, though. Even the Lackthereof/Ramona Falls solo stuff.
So, yeah, that's basically all I've been listening to.

Lately I've been revisiting the self-titled debut by The XX. It's kind of minimalistic post-punk with sampled beats and lovely duel vocals.
They're signed to XL Records so they qualify as being indie cool too.
I wanted orange. It gave me lemon-lime...

I loves Night Time and VCR. No one else I know really likes them though. Because other people are stupid and wrong.
