I have finished Andromeda and I have to say this is a great feeling. I felt like I had to finish it because when I realized that I hated it, I was half way through the last season. Captain Hunt is a douche and the plot is batcrap crazy!

What are you watching?

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

I just sat through all of Shutter Island wondering why I was enjoying it so much. And then at the end it told me Scorsese directed and it made a whole lot more sense.
Something about it gave me the willies though.

Just watched the Red Dawn remake. It wasn't bad. Not great, but entertaining.
I still can't get over seeing the fat kid from Drake & Josh as the fat kid from Drake & Josh, though.

I'm trying to talk spaz in to it, but it hasn't worked yet.
The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Both Upstream Color and Primer are difficult going. I can't remember much of Primer except for thinking it was kinda interesting. Upstream Color is just mesmerizing. I felt like I never really got a handle of what was going on, but when I read an interview with the director/writer/actor guy at the end I realized I'd gotten pretty much all of it. It's not really about the plot so much as it's about these little moments.
One frustrating thing is that it gives you very little to go on in terms of the characters motivations, that's kinda the point. I spent the whole film having no idea why anybody was doing anything, and they do a lot of weird stuff. Except at the end it kind of makes a quirky sense of its own.
I'd recommend it to you. Not sure I'd recommend it to Spaz though, just doesn't seem like her kinda thing. She might get something out of it though.

I really want to watch both of those but currently have no means
Anyone who has the Internet has the means.
I just watched me some Gravity. It was okay. I kinda felt like more things could have gone wrong though.

VP & I watched Jeff, Who Lives at Home. It's a nice feel good movie. Nothing super exciting.
I've stopped watching Bones (TV series). It started getting dumb.
Since then I have picked up Almost Human (TV series). VP and I really like it. I hope it stays as good as it has been.

Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2
These movies make me feel good. And punchy.
Not "conspiracies". Conspiracy. Singular.
