Finally saw Looper. It kept alternating between annoying me and impressing me.

Watching bits and pieces of Sharknado as background noise. Not watching enough of it to really talk about it, but there was one thing that I could not ignore. When someone is attacked by a shark in shallow water a guy with a bat and a girl with a shotgun approach to help. The guy with the bat hits the shark and the girl with the gun...hits the shark. Even after the person they were trying to save is dead (meaning no risk of accidental shooting them) she continues to use the gun as a blunt object to HIT the shark! I just....why?!

 

Edit: I came back to watch the last five minutes and I learned something. Apparently if you explode two small, portable propane bottles inside a tornado, the tornado just...stops. Why haven't we been doing this in Kansas!?

No one wants to get close enough to try it. Except storm chasers, but they don't want to stop tornadoes; they want pictures.

Been trying to make my way through the final seasons of DBZ. It's kinda painful, and I'm not sure why I keep going.

EDIT: And I keep watching foreign-language ponies on Youtube. For some reason I find it fascinating to see which ones are dubbed well, and which ones just sound awful.

Dutch Rainbow Dash is pretty awful.\

I watched bits of Firefly and then Serenity. Joss Whedon certainly has a thing about misfit outcasts banding together to fight great evils. And that's okay because he does it with style.

I just started the anime Attack on Titan and it is amazing!  Just so everyone knows xD

So because of a video I saw on youtube, I started watching a few clips from this anime. Yeah, I didn't want to sleep tonight, now did I?

I kinda started watching Persona 4 because I'm playing it and Bee is interested in it from playing Persona 4 Arena and...it's not that great. The animation is worse than in the game, somehow, and it doesn't translate very well...plus it just has annoying anime tropes, which while tolerable in the game, just aren't in the actual show. But it's okay, I don't hate it.

 

I wish all anime was Miyazaki/Cowboy Bebop and didn't have ridiculous over the top sweat drops and weird shit going on. It totally takes me out of anime, and is why I don't really watch it anymore. Even the last one I watched fully, FMA: Brotherhood (forever ago), I had to cringe every time something like that happened despite it having such a top notch story/setting/characters. 

 

If Attack on Titan doesn't have any of that I'd certainly give it a chance.

It seems... interesting... but it's giant people eating regular people and for some reason the thought disturbs me... Add to that the severe queasiness that cartoon violence makes me feel, then I don't know if I'm really the best person to judge whether or not it's good. I mostly just wanted to see some clips out of morbid curiosity.

Checked out Brooklyn Nine nine, It was pretty okay. I wouldn't go about recommending it though.
