Well, expect many of these to be mecha related. Because Mecha anime is awesome.

1.) Top slot goes to Gurren Lagann. Episode 4's crappy animation aside, the entire series is very well animated, and it's freaking awesome. Currently airing, but the first episode suggests that Simon ends up going against the center of the universe or something.

2.) Gunbuster/Diebuster- You can't count these as seperate, you just can't. Gunbuster was awesome, and then Diebuster is the perfectest sequel ever. As seeing Gunbuster makes Diebuster's ending that much more satisfying, they will be counted as one.

3.) Heroic Age- I just started watching it, and I'm enthralled. Bellcross can take out moon sized enemies with like, the swing of a hand.

4.) Ruroni Kenshin- Oro?

5.) Death Note- The ending is a bit of a let down, but other then that, it's awesome.

6.) Rozen Maiden- I know a certain someone who's going to kill me for having it this far down, but until season 3 comes out, I won't be able to raise it higher. Also, Jun's glasses look stupid.

7.) Outlaw Star- One of the first anime show's I watched. Still love it. (The other firsts were Macross and Sailor Moon. I barely remember them, but Macross is worth watching again.)

8.) Macross- Because I really should watch it again.

9.) Shin Getter Robo- Classic super robot anime, remade and kicking even more ass. What's not to like?

10.) Gundam 08'th MS Team- The best Gundam I've seen yet. The battle with the Gouf Custom was glorious.

Also, to Kamau: You've seen Dangaioh? I am impressed. It almost made it into the list, and would most likely take the slot of Macross if I didn't choose it for nostalgia factor.

It became apparent to me that a mere reporter in this city can never discover the truth. Furthermore, it's clear that the people themselves have no interest in learning the truth!

....But I want to know. I want to know what must be known!

I saw Dangaioh years ago, and I've taken it out of the library at least a dozen times. I only comment on its greatness every other mention of anime. :P

I even told the library that if they plan on getting rid of it, they need to contact me, and I'll buy the tapes from them. :-_-:

Of course it's more than awesome, Arutha. Dangaioh is one of the coolest anime out there, and it was made in the 80s.

1) Cowboy Bebop : I don't care, this is cool, this is awesome, it has one of the best stories I've ever seen in an anime, and I love it so much. I could watch this show over and over again and never be bored of it.

2) Princess Mononoke : Beautiful art, great story, love this movie.

3) Case Closed : Same with Cowboy Bebop. Except not as cool, and the story is a bit lacking because everything is condensed into 30 minutes. Strange side note, my sister got me into this show, strange since I got her into anime.

4) Spirited Away: Same thing I have to say about Mononoke.

5) Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi : Oh how I love how random and funny this show is. Much better than FLCL. This show is great, so many references to other things, and it's just awesome.

6) Fruits Basket: Even if I don't like anime much anymore, this show makes me giggle. High school girls, high school girls, all for me~

7) Neon Genesis Evangelion : One of the first animes outside DBZ and Gundam Wing I had seen, right next to Princess Mononoke, I quite enjoy how insane this show is, and I love Asuka.

8) Air: Gao.

9) Gundam 008th MS Team : You know, even if all the Gundam shows(aside from SD) seem mature, this one seems the most mature of them all, and much more dark. It probably is because unlike every other Gundam, the pilots aren't piloting some invincible piece of armor, and become close to death many times. As well as it actually dealing with Gureilla warfare and such. It makes it appear much more than anime, and a lot more Science Fiction then the others. I love this show for it.

10) Fullmetal Alchemist: I loved this show at one point, alongside Negima. It's fallen from it's grace as I have grown up, but jeez, it's still a solid show.

11) Negima! : I would once say this was my favourite, but it's not anymore. However I do still find it funny, and enjoy the characters. Yet...meh.

This list is probably wrong, considering I remembered FMA right after I posted. :/

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is better (says me)...so I'd watch that one first.

But....Negima is more Love Hina~ish, as both are made by the same person.
