I may look that up and post what I find since Saturday morning shifts are always slow.
EDIT: I've confirmed that ending a battle by having your last pokemon Explode will cause you to lose.
I think you can win a battle by having your last pokemon use Perish Song when your opponent only has one pokemon left, but I couldn't confirm that.
No idea what happens if both players' last pokemon are KO'd by weather/poison/burns in the same round. I guess that would have to be a draw.

The idea about giving two days for each battle isn't bad, but if we do that, I have to drop out- I'm leaving the state on Monday, and won't be back for about a week and a half. Internet access is highly unlikely

I respectfully disagree. They're not talking about draws in single matches, but for total points.
I was thinking maybe using a points system as well, 2 points to the winner, 1 point for a draw or forfeit, and 0 for a loss.

I think we might be over-thinking this though. In fact, give me just a few minutes and I'll mock something up.

Oh, right, today's Saturday... lol.You mean tomorrow night, I hope. =o
I agree. I'd much rather it all get done in one day.Call me biased because I can't do it if it's spread out, but personally, I think we should stick to trying to get it all done tomorrow, or maybe even allow it to start tonight. People were told it would be around the 23rd, and we should have done our best to plan around it. There may be a few forced by's, but ultimately, I think it'll work best if we all set aside a few hours tomorrow night, do what we can in the meantime, and just gitterdun.

Ash just saved the League opening ceremony, and now all the league competitors are at the hall lobby, looking at the screen displaying the tournament brackets. Ash notices he’s supposed to battle a girl. They also explain about the “Victory Points” system, which the league uses, where they give 3 points for every win, 0 for every loss, and 1 for every draw, and if there’s a draw, whoever has more points proceeds.
That said, should we stick with 2 for a win, or go for a the traditional 3?

Any chance, I could regain access to the FTP and host it on here so we don't have to rely on imageshack? Plus it can be so much more conveniently updated that way

Oh, fancy, I hadn't known that. 3 sounds good. I don't think 2 or 3 will matter much since ours is much smaller scale, so either way'll probably work. Also, I remember I'd seen your point system before. It was used into the Silver Conference of the Johto League:

Nice, that looks much better than anything I could have made. *Makes you an FTP account without asking Monkey*Scoreboard!

Because not some of us are using DP, we can't necessary rely on the battle-recorder, which means I think it's best if battles are logged manually, as we have done in the past. All battles should be logged, so I opened a topic for those to be posted in, right here.
I'm not sure if Kamau has sent in her registration, but as soon as Hyper posts the registered teams, I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to start asap, and then cut it off at Monday. Does anyone have any problems with this?

Myself and Starstorm have tied for first, but as I can't stay around to play a tiebreaker, and as he soundly defeated me within the tournament, I'm conceding first place to him, therefore:
1ST PLACE CHAMPION: StarstormVGN
2ND PLACE: AmethystStorm
3RD PLACE: Monkeydog
Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to all who participated. An additional thanks to Hyperlisk for organizing this in the first place, and soon for creating the prizes.
I'm leaving very soon, so I'll answer with my request for a prize when I return in about a week and a half- before then I'd like to ask to what degree we're allowed to specify (like, are we allowed to say what moves we want on it/level/ev's/iv's such or it just getting something from that species?)

I've been wondering this as well.I'd like to ask to what degree we're allowed to specify (like, are we allowed to say what moves we want on it/level/ev's/iv's such or it just getting something from that species?)
That aside, I finally got to read the log for Uxie vs. BottomGuy. That was a surprisingly epic Shuckle battle.
(Psst, Hyperlisk's total score is wrong.)

Just imagine what Shuckle could have done with the support of some good Pokemon, unlike Delibird (Who never attacked) and Ditto (Who never attacked after Transforming). Even though I didn't really win any matches, Shuckle made a bunch of people sweat which I'm proud of.
Not "conspiracies". Conspiracy. Singular.
