i will actually say that my feelings have... er... simmered up. I think I might have tried to avoid buying in to the hype, but now that I've had time to think over it, I have to say that it is a really damn good movie.

I watched the Prestige again the other day and I don't really think Inception holds up against it. I kind of think a lot of the action gets in the way of the idea, and the more I think about the idea I'm kind of left wishing they'd done something different with it.
I did go to see it at the cinema a second time, and I had a wisdom tooth coming through so I was in a shitty mood and didn't really enjoy it much on the repeat. I did enjoy Eames dream section (the snow fortress), watching it again it made total sense to me that somewhere in the back of that characters psyche he's some kind of James Bond superhero and that's why he's jumping around in the snow taking out armed goons and hurling grenades.
