Hrm...the battles themselves could be done at a public location with free wi-fi, but making sure there's someone available to fight would be tricky without the laptop, I suppose. =/

I thought one of the rules would be that I'd have to be in IRC. Also I haven't made a team yet and I don't want to cram a bunch of grinding into two weeks (I hate grinding, that's why I rarely play RPGs anymore)

I still have no idea how the pokemon database works, even after visitin the site.

The PKM files can be inserted into SAVs via PokeSav, or similar tools. You would need a flash cart or some means of backing up/restoring your save from the retail cart to do it.

So how is this thing going to play out? Are we all supposed to try to be in the IRC at a certain time, or will the battles be spread out throughout the day and perhaps the following days (if needed)?

I ask because I just found out that I'm working from 4:30 to 8:30 in the evening (CST) on the 23rd, and nobody wants to switch with me. =/

Mmkay, so I was thinking, there probably won't be a time suitable for everyone. So how does everyone feel about allowing a certain amount of days (I was thinking 2) for people to complete each battle. If you don't complete it in x (I was thinking 2), you forfeit. Though then I don't know what to do in the case of a forfeit. I was thinking maybe using a points system as well, 2 points to the winner, 1 point for a draw or forfeit, and 0 for a loss. *shrug* Someone suggest something T.T
