Bleh, isn't this like, so four years ago?
Seriously, everyone else has moved on. I thought dante had to? If he really wanted to ressurect the project
he should have made a playable demo and released it on the fly. That would have generated some actually interest,
rather than dante trying to have to gather it up himself.

why is he even doing this in the first place? ocarina of time was already made. why bother just copying it, when all that ambition and talent (?) could be applied to making an original game? a print of starry night is just a print of starry night at the end of the day...

I think it was a good idea like, I just think he's better coming with a demo before trying to drum up interest.
No one's ever played it. Ever. It's hard to be interested in something that no one's ever had the chance to play but has been around for years.

People don't like to try new things. So being able to have familiarity in a new context is exciting for people, because they are weak.

Also, he has received far more attention for this than he would have in making something original. And why does he receive that attention? Again, people tend to seek out only that which they are already familiar with.

I assume that since he has made some progress on the game that he is not without talent, but clearly that does not mean he isn't taking the easy way out at every possible convenience.
