PlayStation 4 Slim comes out September 15 for $299.

PlayStation 4 Pro comes out November 10 for $399.

 

Very likely going to get myself a Pro model when that comes out.

I feel like the Pro isn't a big enough upgrade to compel me to get one, especially over PSVR.

The Slim is kinda ugly.

I said as much in the Slack, but yeah, the Pro doesn't seem worth it as an upgrade if you already have a PS4. Been watching a couple of videos to get other people's thoughts on the matter, and that seems to be a commonly held opinion. As a first-time buyer, though, I figure I might as well spend a little extra to get the better model. Just means I have to wait a couple extra months to play the games I already have for it. xp (I bought inFamous: Second Son on black Friday last year, and I recently acquired Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir.)
