Looking for advice/opinions from anyone here who has any experience with wireless headphones.

I'm looking to buy a pair to use with multiple devices (TV/desktop/laptop/maybe phone). Bluetooth headphones seem like some of the best choices, but I don't know how well that would work if I'm going to be switching from one device to another periodically. Am I better off with RF headphones, or is it not a big problem? My computers aren't bluetooth enabled, but dongles seem to be fairly cheap. Not sure if that's an option for my TV, but I'll mostly be using them with my computers.

if you switch bluetooth devices periodically, all you have to do is re-synch the headphones to whatever device you're using. ps runs on bluetooth, and you can play that through a solid wall. as someone who's taken his comcast remote (rf) on a midnight walk to try and mess with his neighbors, you'll get much better range and less chance for interference with bluetooth.

I use these Sony ones. While they are a bit pricey, they work extremely well and the battery lasts pretty long (Up to about a week+ for me) even with regular use. What I like about these is that they can be completely wireless or you can use a regular 3.5mm cable (Included). So if you aren't dead set on only bluetooth, you could use a regular audio cable for your computer. Not sure if any of what I said actually helps, but there you go :)

Thanks for the replies~

That Sony headset is nice but a bit more than I'm looking to spend for my first pair. The ones I think I've settled on are from a brand I've never heard of (Bluedio), but they sound like a solid choice by the reviews.

Ended up getting the Bluedio R+ headphones shortly after my last post. So far I quite like them. The battery lasts a long time, and they're good for noise cancelling. Only thing I need to either work around or get used to is that it's problematic to lay on my side with them on. I'm too used to the form factor of tiny athletic headphones. xp
