Also after being hyped my logical side started to win out and remembered SE kind of just sucks most of the time. So they probably aren't teasing Chrono, despite how many stupid signs I could take from that video.

But if they do announce something...

But yeah. I've been hurt too many times before by the companies that own the franchises I love. We'll see.

I'm just fucking excited for e3. If there is a chrono, that would be amazing.

I guess that'd be cool, but I'm only really interested in Final Fantasy XV right now, and the new Deus Ex game.

 

But they are apparently only showing XIV, not XV, and Deus Ex is low on my list of things, so I won't be getting too excited unless a first look blows me away (it rarely does).

 

On a side note, the music in the video annoyed me, and so did the beeps. I feel like I need some aspirin.

Also FFXV is so boring. They've been constantly releasing information for like the past six months. They just had a big event about it before they released the updated demo like a week ago. I'm pretty over it at this point.

go check http://www.twitch.tv . They're doing a live show thing. The commentators are pretty annoying, but you can mute them until the press conferences start. Microsoft is up right now, and well. Meh, it's Microsoft. Hopefully there are some surprises.

Just because Silconera is the only one to report it and it's a common rumor at this point, every year.

So Sony announced Hitman, Final Fantasy VII remake, and that new Final Fantasy spin-off.

 

Is SE really going to talk more about any of them at their conference? If they talk about any I'd expect it to be FFVII. But still, based on that hype video, you'd be thinking they were hyping up their own announcements on their key-note (which they don't usually do).

Are all things they have announced. FFXV isn't as exciting as it used to be. Kingdom Hearts 3 could be big if they show it off a lot. Unless they're going to announce that they started to care about DQ in the US, I don't expect much. Star Ocean/Mana/SaGa/Front Mission I don't expect to see much if anything of, and it'd make more sense to show that off in Japan. Bravely Default was announced a week ago during a Nintendo thing.

 

They could announce a new IP, but that's risky, especially when you can put "Final Fantasy" or "Dragon Quest" on it an garner more sales.

 

Eidos has stuff like Gex and Legacy of Kain. It would be interesting seeing a rebooted Legacy of Kain but I doubt it.

 

Square/Enix have stuff like Parasite Eve they could pull out of nowhere. But even Parasite Eve has seen a new game this decade.

 

I feel really hyped for the chances to be greatly disappointed tomorrow morning.

Here's to hoping the music isn't just trolling. I was thinking about the point you made, too. With the FF7 and Hitman reveal during Sony's press conference, and all of the other recent reveals, what are they going to talk about?

I just choose to use this definition of crazy instead: "extremely enthusiastic."

 

I am extremely enthusiastic about the things I want to see, and not at all enthusiastic about what I don't. :P

 

But really, I understand I have a minority opinion.

Also, FF7's remake will eventually be on the One as well. It's just coming FIRST to PS4, much like how the Division is coming FIRST to XBOne.

 

What I'm looking most forward to tomorrow for Squeenix is the following three things.

 

1. Kingdom Hearts 3, Kingdom Hearts 3, Kingdom Hearts 3. I've been wanting this for about a decade. Please give it to me now.

2. Final Fantasy XV release date announcement. This might be a complete longshot, but it would be great to know when the wait can be over. I know some are getting tired of all the information, but it's been great personally, I'm ready for it to be out so I can play the hell out of it, like I do with every game in the series.

3. Kingdom Hearts 3 More footage from Just Cause 3.

 

I think I have gotten everything I wanted out of E3. Anything they give me tomorrow is just icing on the cake. I've got a list, and I'm checking it twice, I'm going to be checking what's buggy and nice. #IAmTheTrueSanta

I just don't think they could show me anything new I'd particularly care about though. It just feels like the same stuff for months now.

That's fair, I definitely don't expect everyone to be as constantly excited about a franchise that hasn't been truly great in about a decade(?)

 

I think tomorrow is going to be the day though.
