Davenport is a Minecraft server using a combination of Mods to achive a fun environment to play out the adventure.

It draws it's power from proven mods like Forge, BuildCraft and Metalllurgy.

The server runs in 1.7.10 version.

Server url : davenport.mine.nu.

Instalation instruction :

1 : Run minecraft in Version 1.7.10 (this step sets up the needed profile in the launcher)

2 : Run the forge 1.7.10 installer (located in Extras download)

3 : Run MC Patcher (located in Extras download)

4 : copy the "mods" folder from the archive to your .minecraft folder, make sure not to keep any mods for other versions in your mods folder

5 :Run the MCPatched profile (default name "MCPATCHER" and make use the gameversion that is set to forged 1.7.10 mcpatcher)

6: Survive and enjoy

It's just a standars Minecraft server using bukkit and worldEdit.

Davenport is just the name of the server (Borrowed from SimCity2000)

Also to note, the server has WorldEdit for those who wish to just build something nice in creative, just keep away fro the survival zones to avoid clashing

I have been composing a word document with installation instructions.
I am also working on an installer/launcher that would allow installing the mods and textures in an easy manner.

Also, the modspack will be updated later today since we have added some new things to it like "Power Converters" a powerful addon that allows us to transfer power formats between addons.

This is partly why I want to have a launcher,s icne this would keep all the needed mods up to date at all times

Alright, I added the server, downloaded all the stuffs, ensured that I was running 1.7.10 version. When I try to connect to the server it seems to be stuck on the 'logging in' screen.

Not certain what I'm doing wrong here. I tried restarting the game and my computer with no luck. I can connect to other servers with ease. It doesn't seem to time-out either. What am I missing?

EDIT: This is Vicious trying to help out Spaz. I'm not sure what's going one. I think Spaz might not have patched the game for Forged, so I tried that, and was presented with this error.

EDIT2: When running the MCPatcher, do the mods for the server need to be to be added to the "mods" list before patching? If so, I can't figure out how to do this.

I have just updated the links to the MODS since I've added some other helping mods.

Please so that, and you need to start the minecraft and login as a pure 1.7.10
then close Minecraft, hen run he forge installer for 1.7.10, once hat is done, you need to start minecraft again (this is just to make sure forge was installed)
once it loads, close it and run MCPatcher on the designated version, should be called something like "minecraft 1.7.10 forged" and some extra numbers.

Though the MCPatcher is just needed for the txture packs

I would also like to point out that I'm working on a laucher that will do all this for you.

so it will more or less be.
1 : start laucher and let it patch
2 : start the game
3 : play

I'm working best I can, I'm just so buzy with work right now along with another project.

Minecraft generic launcher (The reason it's taking so much time is because It will work more generic, it will allow anyone to create .NET extension with custom rules for their server.)

Generic Software launcher (a software where you can gather up any game or other software and launch them, either seperate or as a pair, Basically, whe you start a game it can set it to lauch the game along with TeamSpeak or Ventrilo. This also allows for a simpler way to keep your game shortcuts in ordr without the use of desctop icons)

Setting up game Servers for DivinityGaming ( a side project I do to help some people I met online with their team servers)
