But has the site been really slow for anyone the past few days?

Not noticeably for me. It's going about the same speed as usual.

 

Any slowness I've experienced carried over elsewhere, so nothing out of place on my end.

It was super slow for about 10 minutes a couple weeks ago, but I haven't noticed anything more recently.
