Minor correction: EPL (English Premier League) - Scotland (and Wales to a lesser extent) have their own leagues. So even though both Swansea and Cardiff are non-English British teams in the Premier League, they are exceptions. The Premier League is, as a general rule, for English teams only.

England is just the country. Great Britain is the island including Scotland & Wales (and Cornwall, but that's another issue) as well as what are called the British Isles. The United Kingdom also includes Northern Ireland, which is not part of the British Isles as it is part of Eire (more commonly just called Ireland).

It may seem trivial, but trust me, when you live here it's not.

Actually I always called it EPL but on the telecasts they abbreviate it BPL. They do this because... It's the Barclays Premier League. But I will gladly call it EPL from this point forward.

Yeah, it was a really good game. Again, Barkley & Lukaku looked great.

Martinez is shaping up to be a fine replacement for Moyes.

8 games left and the Blues still have a shot at top 4. It's a bit of a long shot, but at the beginning of the season if you told me they would be 6 pts back of 4th with game in hand, I would take it.

Honestly I'd just be happy to see them make Europa, which is looking more and more likely.

That and see Man U miss Europa. That would be icing on the cake.

COYB!

Yeah, Everton have been top this season. Martinez has stepped in done a great job, definitely seems like you got the best deal after last summer's managerial changes. It will be great to see Everton in the Euro Cup - how do you feel about Liverpool potentially taking the title this year?

My name time find themselves in free-fall towards relegation with a really difficult run of games until the end of the season. I'm feeling pretty pessimistic about things.

Norwich always puts up a good fight. I bet they will avoid relegation. I was surprised at some of the moves they made at beginning of the season, though.

Yeah, it is bittersweet this season since Liverpool is doing so well. But Everton's success does lessen the blow a bit. All I really have to say about Liverpool is this:

Lukaku's strike was PURE MAGIC! What has happened to Arsenal? I'm watching live and this is a sound beating.

4th place is so close!

Yeah what was Wenger thinking bringing on Walcott so early?

Good thing I had a pony on Everton.

Good luck in the final five games. I actually really like a Wenger and Arsenal, I like that they stick to a philosophy of beautiful football even when things get tough, but it'd be great to see Everton in the Champions League.

Norwich are starting to look pretty interesting. We just sacked our manager and replaced him with a coach who has been working at the club for twenty years behind the scenes. Five games left and we're one place off relegation.

The Arsenal comments are just IT Crowd references. I have no issue with them, either.

Also, Norwich is 5 pts clear of relegation. Granted, Sunderland has 3 gamed in hand, but still, I'm hoping Norwich can hold them off.

Didn't even notice Sunderland had three games in hand. We're worse off than I thought. Just one win could shoot us up the table though, it's tight down there.

Sorry to hear about the Fulham/Norwich result today.

Everton did their part to help themselves and Norwich, but just barely.

What a great weekend!

Moyes receives taunts of "sacked in the morning" at Goodison, and Norwich keeps 2 points above the relegation line.

Heh, we had a really tough game against Liverpool. Almost got a draw, but they had too much class for us. Really good game though.

We have Chelsea, Man Utd & Arsenal as our remaining three games. By far the hardest of any of the teams in the relegation battle. I'm not optimistic.

I thought Norwich was robbed at the end. There was a clear penalty just outside Liverpool's box and the ref looked the other way. Norwich could have had a chance to draw. Liverpool looked on their heels the last few minutes. Would have been so great to draw.

Chelsea just lost to Sunderland and Man U is not what they once were. If Norwich can even draw once it may be enough.

I was kind of hoping that we'd be able to steal 3 points at Old Trafford, but now that they've sacked Moyes and Giggs is head-coach I think we'll have very little chance. Giggs and Man Utd will have a point to prove now. Maybe we can catch Arsenal on one of their off days. We always get destroyed by Chelsea and Mourinho.
