Don't worry, they haven't changed a lot. just took out some abusable stuff, upped some things and lowered others as to balance it all out.

also: I don't fully grasp the concept here....is it going to be a live chat DnD sort of thing? (keeps psion handbook close to him)

Oh hey, the guy who taught me how to play D&D told me to download that, and I totally forgot about it. I think it's actually intended to be done multiplayer, though they do have single-player quests.

It's a d10 system, less complicated... The system forces you to create WHO the character is... Not WHAT he is.

Also I'm not all for the playing D&D thing now. I simply lost interest. You can blame Portal 2.

I'd be interested, unfortunately I can't say if I'd be able to do it... As for how to accomplish it, I can damn near promise you that if you do it through IRC it will fail. I don't know what it is with this forum and the IRC but they just don't mix.

I actually have DDO, I used to play it with my roommate. It feels more like an MMO with a tabletop gaming spin rather than a tabletop with an MMO spin, though. :c

It's... okay. I've never done any big quests, my roommate and I usually just do stuff together. We used to have a group of three with me + her + her boyfriend, but then she and her douchey boyfriend broke up, and so she hasn't wanted to play lately and may have uninstalled it. I was about to do the same.
