Actually I think it's sillier that we have like 4 different protocals and there really isn't a significant difference between them ... Isn't Jabber supposed to become a standard or something? That would be nice.

here in dutchland most if not nearly all people chat with MSN, so basicaly a lot of people I know would not show up in the above mentioned, would they....

aha, ill go look into it as soon as I get home (together with christmas ava)
edit: ok, this digsby looked neat enough, keeping different protocols appart, it wasn't jammed full with protocols like pidgin.

I like Trillian. Because it's prettyful. But it can be buggy. Never tried digsby.

I like Trillian and Pidgin.
Miranda is boring on the surface, but it's very very very lightweight and customizable.
I enjoy the idea of Digsby...and it's really only good if you're into social networks like Facebook and Myspace and Twitter. But it still is kind of a memory whore (30mbs? bleh)

i really like trillian, it works for me and it does what i need it to do...and i've never had any trouble with it
