I have heard of it before in a topic I started, on another forum, about the book Eragon, which I think is a good book...

Eragon is mediocre, but easy to read, thus its wide distribution in America.

Rereading it, I thought the first book was slow, but I kept at the series nonetheless. The most recent books is probably my favorite of the series, but then, I'm not entirely sober atm. =D

Character I most relate to: Perrin
Character I relate to the least: Mat

Loved this series since I started reading it (Except Lord of Chaos) and I can't wait for the last two books to come out. I bought and read through the whole series once, but my books look like they're all I read becuase I give them to everyone. Seriously the cover fell off Eye of the World it got around so much.

Also for those of you looking to kill some time while you're online there's Time Realms, a Legend of the Green Dragon game based on Wheel of Time. It's kinda slow but the admin adds stuff all the time (or at least she used to) so if anyone wants to play I might have to take it back up again.

what are your least favorite chapters...like I dislike chapters that revolve around perrin...well at first and in winter's heart perrin isn't my favorite character but he does have some intense chapters...Mat's chapters are my favorite Rand has some pretty good ones too

Mat is my favorite character

I love it when Mat complains about women. Especially that nice little rant in the latest book. It was... perfect. =D

Old topic is old!

I just bought used copies of the first six books in really good condition (book 2 has some spine creases, but that's probably unavoidable with books this huge) for under $11.

I love this series so much, one of my favorites!  This reminded me that I have read the first 13 books, but never gotten around to reading the last one.  I really need to go buy it :D

Aaand I got books 7-10 for $2 each from another branch of the same used book store. I had a whole bunch of trade credit that I haven't had much use for, so I figured what the heck.

Wow that is cheap, good job!  I'm sure I payed a good bit more than that for mine, especially for such large books.  Hope you enjoy them :D

Tell ya what, I bought all of mine new (Paperback, mostly) and it was well worth it. I intend to, at some point, purchase them all again in hardcover.
