[Stars]

Stars, grateful for the assistance lent to him by Argus, decides to help him out in return.

Stars uses 10 of his newly restored MP to cast Shield Beta on Argus, protecting him from Puffin's attack, and reflecting half of it back to its source.

"Thank you, friend. They surely would have taken me had you not intervened."

"Now, let us join forces and reduce our enemies' numbers."

[Puffin]

Once one of the bullets had been reflected, Puffin tried to dodge one, though he still ended up being shot in his left arm. He silently cursed Stars' shield as sheathed his cutlass, and held his pistol with his right, then looked from Argus to Stars, who had him surrounded, "I can't take out Argus if Stars shields him..." He thought and immidiatly aimed for stars as he once again pulled the trigger....only to hear an empty click.

"God damn it! it's just one thing after another, isn't it?!" He said out of frustration as he realized he needed to reload, but couldn't quite do so while he was surrounded.

So he put his pistol back in its holster, and took out the cutlass again, "Alright then, lets get this on with!"

[Stars]

Stars re-draws the Sword of Kings with his healed but shaky right hand. Though his arm is still very sore, he is confident in his skills.

"Yes, let us begin."

"But first-"

Stars quickly turns around and uses 24 MP to cast the deadly spell Starstorm Alpha on Kaiser.

"There, that should take care of him. I don't want to get attacked from behind again, after all."

"Hmm...after healing, shielding, and storming, I haven't got much psyonic energy left, but my blade should be able to take care of you."

[Puffin]

"Heh," Puffin hehhed, "you wish it were enough!" but rather than go right ahead and attack Stars he instead took a wary glasnce at Argus, not sure if he should turn his back so easily on him, "It'd be really great ifthere were someone to help me out with this..." He thought.

[Stars]

Seeing Puffin's hesitation, Stars decides to charge him.

"This is for all the 10-year-old British school teachers you've mocked!"

Stars jumps towards his foe and makes at wide slash with his sword.

[Kamau]

[Pff, and you said you weren't outnumbered. ]

Noticing that Puffin really was getting himself into a bit of trouble, what with how Starstorm and Argus were ganging up on him, and how he didn't have any support any longer, Kamau's sense of friendship kicked in, and he quietly started towards Starstorm, staff ready.

Seeing Starstorm take off as he was about to get within attacking distance, Kamau stopped for a moment, then continued in pursuit. Casting a glance towards Puffin, his silently tried to tell him to keep Stars distracted long enough for him to attack from behind.

[Puffin]

Seeing Star's attack he immidiatly parried the attack, and then went in for his own, while at the same time catching Kamau's signal.

"Ha! you mean that wimp, Neji?" Puffin laughed, "he deserves all that mocking!"

[Stars]

Stars becomes angry at Puffin's words.

"His name is 'Negi,' you fool!"

Stars continues his attack with ferocity but scores no serious hits.

"Help me, Argus! He's tougher than he looks!"

[Kamau]

Glad that the plan to distract Starstorm had worked, Kamau moved a bit faster - though still as quietly as he could - and, when in range, quickly raised his staff and brought down fast, aiming for Starstorm's head.

[Puffin]

"who cares what his name is?" Puffin continued to taunt, "he's still a dumb kid!" then, as Kamau brought his staff down Puffin swung his cutlass at Stars, hoping to cut him as Kamau bludgeoned him.

[Stars]

Stars evades the two attacks and jumps away from Puffin and Kamau.

"Heh, did you think I had forgotten about you, Kamau? You 'sneak' far too noisily."

"That aside, how could you side with Puffin?!" He has insulted Negima far too often! Well, now that this battle has taken a turn for the worse, I must do something drastic..."

(Mirror: the ability to copy the appearance and abilities of your adversary. It is a dangerous move both to the target and the user, since the user cannot entirely control his own actions once he becomes someone else.)

Stars uses his Mirror ability to transform into a double of Puffin!

He pulls out a cutlass and readies him self for battle once again.

"..."

[Kamau]

"Wah!" Kamau let out a cry as Starstorm dodged his attack, but the cry was mostly for the fact that he was now headed straight for Puffin's sword. He quickly put his staff in front of him and blocked the attack so that he could fall to the side.

He then looks somewhat upset by Starstorm's criticism before the transformation. "But...but...Puffin's my friend!" he protested from his seat on the floor as he clutched his staff to his chest, almost like one would do with a teddy bear. "I couldn't not help him..."

Once Starstorm's transformation was complete, all he could do was look surprised as his gaze switched from one Puffin to the next.

[Puffin]

"That's...That's so....Cool!" Puffin said in amazement as he looked at his double, "Is it like a mirror?! will it move to my movements?!" He said as he raised his left arm to see if Stars would do the same.

[Stars]

Puffin-Stars stares at the real Puffin.

"Do you mock me? Do not think you can best me just because you know all my moves, for that is a mutual fact between us."

Puffin-Stars lunges at the opening created by Puffin's foolish gesture.

[Puffin]

Puffin laughed as he jumped away, "C'mon, I was just joking around! really, lighten up!" After dodging he fell into an attack stance, "Though I'm sure you're right about us having the same moves...Too bad it won't be just us fightin'!" He said before dashing off, "Take care of 'im for me, Kam-Kam!" He yelled as he hid behind a rock.

[Stars]

Puffin-Stars stops his attack and turns to Kamau.

"Don't listen to him, Kam-Kam! He's trying to confuse you! You know the real me would never hide behind a rock!"

[Kamau]

"O-ok!" Kamau started to say as he stood and began to prepare for an attack, but the other Puffin's words stopped him and made him look confused. "But..." He looked between the Puffin behind the rock and the Puffin still out in the open, trying to figure out what to do.

[Puffin]

"Oh, c'mon Kam-Kam! There were SO many things that shoulda told youhe's lying just in that one sentence!" Puffin yelled from behind the rock where he'd been reloading his pistol, "For one thing I 'on't even talk like that!"

[Kamau]

"But..." Kamau looked helpless for a moment. "He could be the fake, but you could be the fake, trying to trick me...!" He still didn't know what to do, so could do nothing but keep his weapon prepared.

[Stars]

"C'mon, you can't serious think that that Negi lover hiding behind a stupid rock is me."

Puffin-Stars grows restless from all this standing and yelling.

"Forget this. I can't wait for you to figure it out."

P-Stars runs to the side of the rock to continue his attack. He swings his sword hoping to catch the real Puffin off guard and knock his cutlass out of his hand.
