I have been dying to play this for a very long time and trust me it is fuuuuuuuun! Here is a link to the wiki-page for the game: Paranoia

Here is the format:

Name:
Secret Society:
Character Description:
History:

For obvious reasons, I will play The Computer. This is a fairly unheard of must-play for Role-Play lovers! No limit to number of players. Oh and, as a side-note, all characters will START OUT with a Red Security Clearance.

"Demonstrating any knowledge of the rules is forbidden. Anyone exhibiting forbidden behavior will be dealt with... permanently." - The Computer

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

I find myself paranoid about whether or not to look up rules on how to fill out a character sheet...

But yes, I am interesting in playing. =p

"Your profile is not in my databanks. Enter your information or I will be forced to terminate you. I wish I could say I wouldn't enjoy it." - The Computer

It's pretty simple. Essentially, it is a dystopian society controlled by me, The Computer, which is sort of like a cross between Glados and The Computer on Binar in Star Trek. You basically just have to look up the secret societies in the link. You have what is referred to as a "six-pack" which is your six clones that you are given for when you die. You need those because most you are a little "extra" mortal in this society. If you gain enough of The Computer's favor you can sometimes "buy" another clone. Also, you can gain higher security clearances (which is basically how you know how much the computer trusts you). It's like 1984 completely run by a demented computer with a very dark sense of humor. The Computer really hates the Communists Secret Society.

The goal is to try to survive. (You should know though that if you want to try and destroy The Computer, it is possible but extremely extremely extremely difficult "You should not attempt to harm me. When you fail, (and you will), I must take compensation from your tissues." - The Computer)

Just be creative with it.

Not sure if we want everyone to know about us or just you, so I spoiler'd it just in case.

/>Name:Brian Luddy (a.k.a Buddy)

Secret Society:Frankenstein Destroyers

Character Description: Buddy is massive. He is 6'4" and 300 lbs and is very muscular. He has green eyes, and even though he is in his mid 20s, his hair is white. He has a horrible temper.

History: Buddy worked at the Rail Yard. He loved it. He was the only one strong enough to pry open some of the railcar doors. He was a King at the Rail Yard. Everyone loved him. That is of course until he was replaced. One day Boss Hodges brought in a robot to do all the heavy lifting. The robot required no pay, and could do five times the work that Buddy could. This left Buddy without a job, and furious! Robots, computers, even soda dispensers now draw the ire of Buddy. It's high time he had his revenge!

Old flash signature has been revived for nostalgic purposes. Too bad RpgWizard hasn't been revived. :\

I can't wait. Even with two characters so far, I can see some glorious story lines. :P

Name: John Smith (aka Johann, aka Sean, aka Juan)
Secret Society: Communists...but really a double agent for Free Enterprise...but really a member of the Illuminati
Description: 5-foot-6, brown hair, brown eyes, average build. The averagest-looking person you ever did see.
History: John had a fairly normal childhood, aside from being raised by a man who was not his father. Sean never knew his real father, and in hindsight he thinks his guardian was probably a member of the Illuminati. From a young age, Juan has always gotten along with most people, but he never had any close friends. As a double-double agent, having no close ties and a forgettable appearance has served Johann well in avoiding detection. He generally does nothing except follow lots and lots of orders, though he sometimes has random outbursts of wanting to be his own person and do whatever he wants.
