I got a zip of a bunch of wiiware games from a friend and they are in a format called .wad he didn't say what to do with them, and I have no idea how to get them onto the wii. what do i do with them?

You have to first soft mod (or I guess you could just hard mod) your Wii, and then you need to install a WAD Installer onto your Wii.
