but you won't get the full cinema experience!I'll watch it, but not in theaters.
I'm planning on watching this with family. I was never really into films as a kid, except for when I got to see them on the big screen. I don't care how big your widescreen tv is nothing beats a crowded cinema on release day.
I wanted orange. It gave me lemon-lime...

Well.
Because the RPG/Sandbox hybrid nature of the game's design allows players to feel like they're developing unique battling strategies suited to their tastes, allowing them a great deal of replay value and customization between play-throughs and games, while increasing the potential for player versus player interaction. Media in which players are given the possibility for their own creative input tend to flourish, as evidenced by the dramatic increase in games originally conceived in single-player or multiplayer-campaign functions being further developed to allow net-play and custom level designs, characters, etc. When added to a global economy of players, such media gain a massive amount of momentum, and starting with the initial investment already generated by a pre-established fanbase (that being, in this case, the players of the game as kids which in turn was developed through childhood in addition to the flavor added by its peripheral components, such as spin-off games, the pokedex, the TCG and especially the anime, thereby hooking them into familiarity and brand loyalty) are allowed to gain massive commercial ground very rapidly. Naturally, a correlation of interest runs parallel to the effect as the franchise spirals itself into the mainstream.
...that's why.
Also, some of them are pretty cute.

Because we have souls and at one point a childhood? I mean, as long as there are Toy Story movies being made (well I do hope they don't go past 3) or in fact as long as Pixar keeps making movies in general, I can remain a kid for an hour and 30 minutes at a time.
Pixar has an impressive track record, too. The only one (out of, I don't know, 10 or 11 movies?) that isn't great might be Cars, and even that's really not bad. It seems like they're the only ones that really know how to do computer animated films. So, I'll be going in for gorgeous animation and great story-telling, and for the fact that dammit....I've grown up with Andy!
I think I'll be seeing it with family either today or tomorrow. Or who knows, maybe by myself. I just wanna see it.

I laughed. I cried. My heart pounded with fear and excitement. I absolutely loved every moment of Toy Story from the previews to the credits. XD

But yeah, Cy, that was very long winded and not really needed. I like pokemon, too, you don't need to justify yourself to me. Really. I could probably think of a mile-long, boring block of text saying why Toy Story 3 is great an' all, but it'd be a waste of time. My only point is that just because we were kids when it started, doesn't mean it's not something to like now.
Especially since, while I won't give anything away, the movie really grew up with its audience. It still works as a kid's movie, but it certainly isn't boring and childish.
And Kamau wants to add that he agrees 110% with Toys in the Attic.

Nobody except fanboys take any of that seriously.Because the RPG/Sandbox hybrid nature of the game's design allows players to feel like they're developing unique battling strategies suited to their tastes, allowing them a great deal of replay value and customization between play-throughs and games, while increasing the potential for player versus player interaction.
And Pokemon is so nowhere near a Sandbox game. It's very one the rails go one way and stay limited. GTA/Persona/Harvest Moon are RPG/Sandbox hybrids, not Pokemon.
ahhh I'm seeing it soon. Like in two hours. Excited.

But anyway, this isn't about those.
...I want to say more about the actual topic, but I'm trying to avoid the word "meh" again. It's not working. Glad you all are enjoying it.
