Well Neon Bible wasn't the WORST.

It certainly was nowhere as great as Funeral...but I unno. They've only had two albums out, one was great, one was...goodish. So I'm kind of excited.

We found out a month ago that Arcade Fire and Spike Jonze were collaborating on something secret and on the theme of “friends growing apart.”

Both songs are pretty meh. Suburbs is a solid song, but they've kind of become the Win Butler band, everything revolves around his vocals. Which is not what I enjoyed about Funeral.

My favorite part of Arcade Fire, I think, alongside everything in life, involved Owen Pallett. And I just really don't hear either of Owen's influences on either of these songs. Oh well.

I think they may be growers, but eh. I kinda like The Suburbs. And for all I know, the album could be way better than what they've decided to show us at first.

Yeah, and I think Brendan Reed's departure also took a lot from the band. Have you listened to the Clues album? Highly recommended if you can get your hands on it.

I checked out the videos. The songs are just really mediocre rock pop songs. They've lost everything that made them unique.
