Man, I miss my heat shield style... Cuz all the other elemental charge attacks sucked.

Heh, I used to play either Elec Shield or Elec Cust. But the first style I would always get would be Shield. <3 it.

Download Megaman 1, 2 and 3, the Mega Man X 1, 2, and 4, anything Mega Man Legends you can find, and Mega Man Battle Network 3.

I know, I know, I know...

Just do it, faggot.

I've never gotten very far in a Megaman game. I think I got close to beating one for the gameboy color, (which I think was just Megaman 1 slightly remixed and with fewer bosses) and I'm pretty sure I beat Megaman Legends back in the day. Games used to be so unforgiving.

*has played the MM9 demo*

They still are unforgiving...

Save the Battle network series. Which is definitely way different from the classic games.

Megaman BN3 intro (start) and battle tutorial (skip to 1:20):

And then this is a more interesting battle, even if I don't like his style or folder at all:

kay. make your own classicc-ish style megaman stages. where does the mmo part come in? just sounds like you make custom stages and send it into the void of online-posted user created content.

Well, someone said it, but not from Capcom. Too bad it's XBLA and PSN only.

Oh, is that it? That's really, really disappointing for me. the sidescrolling platform shooter megaman games... well, guess I'm too used to the action of the BN and SF series. This... this is mario with a gun shooting armored (but just as stupid) goombas.

Maaan.

The action in BN and SF have nothing when compared to the X or Zero series. They're absolute bore in comparison to "action".

But as much as the Online game looks like X...it looks really dumbed down for an X game.

^Everything Monkey just said.

And I'm gonna have to agree with several of the comments and say that whoever is playing in the demo video is not very good at Mega Man. At all.

Which is saying something because the action in X and Zero have nothing compared to the original series!

That said Battle Network was much more fun in that it was--for once--an original concept, both in terms of Mega Man games AND RPGs.
