Doubtful DVDs will be obsolete any time soon, if ever. They have AT LEAST a decade more of being dominant.By the time that thing is produced, DVDs will be obsolete.

But even if DVDs are obsolete, optical discs in general never will be. Even in an age where everything can be on a flash drive or something similar, there will still be people who want data that can't be destroyed by a magnet (Me)
