Special Jirachi
February 27th - March 13th
Take your DS to your local Gamestop to download it. It allegedly unlocks a special Pokewalker route.

Pikachu-Colored Pichu Redux
February 14th - March 25th
This is being given out over WiFi. Note that if you obtained the Pichu from the first event, you will be unable to receive this one.

I'll probably walk over to my Gamestop since its about a 10 minute walk, so not too much trouble. It's just...it doesn't seem to be all that great. The Pichu is supposed to be transferred over to HGSS to obtain the Spikey-Eared Pichu. But then...that's where it ends. Sure, that Pichu has an exclusive moveset, but it can't evolve (worthless in battle) and it can't be traded (can't trade it for a better Pokemon). The Pikachu-Colored Pichu also has a unique moveset, but I don't remember if it can evolve. Probably not, and if it did it would probably lose its unique coloring. I prefer the events that give you rare Pokemon or Unique Pokemon, while this just seems like a pointless collective item. As an example, there are going to be Pokemon with unique moves (Pokewalker I think) such as Munchlax with Explosion. Now see, that's worth working for in my opinion because then you get Snorlax with explosion. Personally, I like Pokemon that can be battled. Again, I'm doing this just so I can have it which I guess what it's all about.

Oh, and this explains a LOT: Pichu is game director Junichi Masuda's favorite Pokémon.

Eh, I am not too interested in this event either for all the reasons you stated, plus I am not aware of any GameStop within walking distance from my school.

The nature from what I have heard is set to be "Jolly". And yes, it can evolve (and still activate the necessary HGSS events to acquire the Spiky-Eared Pichu).

Like I said, it would probably lose its special coloring upon evolution, so it would lose that unique trait. Plus, I was just looking up what makes its color special because it's supposed to be a "Pikachu Colored" Pichu, but upon examining its description...that's just another word for shiny. So hopefully it can keep its shininess with evolution. Its moveset is...I don't know. I can't find it. If it actually has some good special moves, it could be worth it.

The same cannot be said for the Spikey-Eared Pichu...

yay wifi! However... my little bro seems unable to find my pokemon paks down in that big state to the south... so he can't go get me my jirachis. >.> The pichus... I really couldn't care less.

Just got back from gamestop where i got a Shiny Raikou. Entei and suicune are being made available throughout the next month or so, and Serebii.net said something about a celebi after the g/s trio

Why Was I Not Aware of This Page

You can get all three of the Legendary Beasts plus Celebi. Meaning I'll have Mew, Jirachi and Celebi. It seems unnatural after all these years of never having access to these little fellas.

Went over to Gamestop looking for the two Golden Sun games because for reasons unknown to me, I cannot find my copies. It took me three years to find both of those and as soon as the new game comes out poof! They disappear. Luckily I managed to find both of them at one store.

While I was there picked up Raikou for both my Platinum and HG games. Meaning I have a spare for anyone who wants to make a deal. Or just ask. I'd probably give it away for free.
