1. Kirinyaga- Mike Resnick
You've seriously gotta read that. It's my favorite book ever, and I read quite a bit.
2. Stalking the Unicorn (series)- Mike Resnick
If you want a laugh, read that series, it's one of the funniest I've read

That's all fo now.

I ain't putting 'em in any sort of significant order....

Wheel of Time series- Robert Jordan
Posted Image
^ is missing the most recent book. But 'nuff said.

The Farseer Trilogy- Robin Hobb. I actually started the series at the second, a prize for Accelerated Reader points in middle school. Cuz hell, I thought the cover art looked cool vvv. Then I read it. Wow. I read the third book, then years later found a copy of the first and read that too.

review of the 1st book
[Assassin's Apprentice] [Royal Assassin] [Assassin's Quest]

The Tawny Man Trilogy- Robin Hobb. I didn't know it existed until years later and a random trip to Hastings. I bought all three on the spot and never regretted it. This is the sequel series to the The Farseer Trilogy. The first series ended in triumph, but in trajedy as well. But it wasn't the true end to the story. Events continue to unfold in the kingdom.
[The Golden Fool] [Fool's Errand] [Fool's Fate]

Well, there are several more series I need to put here, but can't be bothered at the moment...

I keep forgetting to post in this topic for some reason.

I quite like Dune - at least the first three books, not the entire series by any means...especially the stuff by Brian Herbert...
Ender's Game is also a favorite of mine. I've got all eight books, but the only other one I've read so far is Ender's Shadow.
The entire Myth series (Another Fine Myth, etc.; it doesn't have an official series name) is just plain awesome.
Also Harry Potter, of course.

Yep yep. A friend of mine in high school lent me an anthology of the first four stories, and I have since bought all of the books in the series. Haven't read the last two co-authored ones yet though. Gonna get to those (and a bunch of other books) in the summer.

Yeah I need to re-read all these. Last time I read them was... Like '98 or so... Obviously I am not up to date.

Ah, so you haven't read any of the stories he co-wrote with Jody Lynn Nye? I was wary of them myself at first, but they ended up being nearly as good as the original books.

An awesome book, but isn't that like 8th grade reading level?
Respect.

And Life of Pi, starting the Godfather purty soon.

Probably, if not lower, it's an extremely easy book, I just love it, though.

Does this include non-fiction or is it fiction only?

My favourite fiction is probably House of Leaves, White Noise, VALIS or The Crying of Lot 49. Not necessarily because they're great books because of when and where I read them.

Non-fiction is a far more difficult question.
