I was looking in the anime forums and I noticed there were not many things. Is there anyone out there who likes Lucky Star?. Ill admit the first episode was a bit dumb but i enjoy the randomness of it all. :T_T:

The only thing I've seen of Lucky Star is their parody of the Haruhi end credits.

I've seen about the first 9 episodes of it, but the lack of a consistant plot kinda made me less interested. I do love the intro theme and the first episode, though.

It was okay, and sometimes the anime/pop-culture references were pretty funny. Like BLU, the lack of consistent plot made me lose interest fairly quickly.

I watched the first episode. I didn't think it was bad, but I didn't really enjoy it too much either.

Boring as all hell... don't understand why my best friend watches it. >.>

They bank too much on the 'cutesy' aspect of it, methinks.

i watched the whole series. the last episodes were deffinitely the best and i think that all the pop references were what kept me going. i wanted to see what they would add next.

So last week I decided to give Lucky Star another try. Surprisingly, I found it infinitely more funny than the first time I saw it. I got A LOT more of the references this time around (I've been comparing my findings to the comprehensive list of cultural/anime/etc.. references on the internet), and I think that has made all the difference. I found it far less enjoyable the first time, when I just saw it as a typical slice-of-life anime. I'm around episode 19/24 right now. I still have to watch the OVA as well. To me, it may rank up there with Crayon Shin-Chan in terms of comedic pleasure (I love both shows :3).
