Hey, I have a question.. I was mussing around with a quick game I'm making in RM2K3..
I was creating a class, and was messing with her menu commands..
Data Base>Class>Battle Command>Set>Archetype>Link to event..

What exactly does Link to Event do? I can't see a use for it.. And when selected, for what I can see, nothing changes.

Perhaps it means that you could have a class for a particular character that gains it as part of a storyline. Or maybe it has to do with requirements for when that class can be used by characters?

It's been a while since I last looked at RM2K3, but I always assumed that it was used for making custom battle commands with a common event.

Or I could just be tired and crazy right now and don't know what I'm talking about.

Ya, basically custom battle commands. Say you wanted to make a SCAN ability selectable from your main battle menu and not part of a skill subset - you'd make it Link to Event, and then have a page in Monster Group or w/e with a condition of "If skill <SCAN> is used" before going on with your code.

I am pretty sure that was an incredibly messy sentence. Oh well~
