[Puffin]

Not much to show =/ I haven't really drawn anything that I can show you guys, unfortunately. I thought I had a lot of stuff that could have been scanned, but found out otherwise the other day. So, here's just a few things. They're not too great, unfortunately.

Here's a failed character design. her outfit isn't so bad, but her face and hair came out weird.

The last little request I managed to finish. Monkey's portrait, which I based off of one of his facebook photos, then sort of winged it from there. I'm not entirely pleased with it.

And that's it.
Also, I've been contemplating making a topic (probably titled something like, "Puffin's art gallery" or maybe I'd find myself a little more creative) that I would just add to whenever I have new art to show. Question is, would people look at it as much if it was the same old topic revived again and again? Or do you think you guys would be more apt to check and post in a brand new topic? Gimme some feedback with this.

I rather like the character design in the second pic. I think the face is fine, and the hair looks good aside from being a bit skewed or something (kinda looks like it's trying to fit into a frontal view instead of an angled view, probably because of the large lock on the right).

I don't remember if you went to WOA much (or at all), but Sir Isaac had a topic like that, and it had loads of replies from other members.

Ekans doesn't know what it is you don't like about the girl's face in the second picture. Ekans thinks it is a very interesting, stylized person. But that's just the opinion of an uniformed Pokemon...

I guess she just didn't come out the way I wanted. She was supposed to be a specific character (hence why I called her a failed character design), but she just didn't have the right look to her that would have made her that character.

Nah, is fine. As I said, I'm not entirely pleased with your portrait. While it may not be the same reason you're creeped out by it, something does seem off to me.

Lea's picture: I like the pants and that part over it. :) The shirt, not so much. And you're right, the face doesn't look much like her, though it'd look good on someone else.

As for one whole topic, that'd be fine. I like your witty titles, and it does help me to know there's actually new art, rather than just more replies, but either way works.
