The anime convention we went to has made me feel like I should try watching anime again.

So...yeah tell me what to watch. And preferably things I can get in English, because I really kind of don't look at the screen sometimes when I watch things. I usually do work or play something or try to sleep when watching TV so...

I'd list what I have watched, but that would take forever.

I've never been one to really like Ghost in the Shell though.

And Claymore is a sword silly.

Kara no Kyoukai

It's that anime that was listed under Elfen Lied. It comes in short-movie form (6 or 7 movies, about 50 minutes each), and seems to have a nonlinear plot. I've only seen the first movie, and I was crazy confused, but it seems like it could be good.

reccomend AGAINST. it was long as all hell... and boring... >.>

I'd reccomend Gurren Laggan, but that's best seen with subtitles.

I'd also reccommend uncontionally that you watch Gankutsuo as well. Also best seen with subtitles for full epicness. Plus, it's one of those anime where you'll be busy watching the screen anyways. Not like some craptacular anime, such as lucky star or sayonara zetsubo sensei, though it (zetsubo) does have its episodes.

I won't be busy watching the screen no matter what's happening. Because for most things I highly don't care. Unless it happens to be Breaking Bad or something.

I've tried watching this anime so many times ... but I've never made it past episode 10 as all I keep thinking is that it's a less interesting Evangelion.
