I just finished reading it and I enjoyed it a lot.
For anyone else who has read it, my question is: should I bother reading the sequels?

I have also only read the first book, but my brother tells me I should read the rest of them. I might as well since I bought them all in one fancy volume...

I read them all and enjoyed all of them except the one about zaphood.
You'll enjoy atleast the first 4 I'm sure. There's lots of marvin in later ones which is worth reading simply because its marvin
