I may not be the biggest fan of NIN, but damn do I respect what Trent Reznor does. He certainly should not stop making music and saying fuck you to the record companies.

I know that is sarcastic, but it is too bad.Oh darn, too bad.
Trent is one of the few musicians I know, and probably the only commercial big time artists to actually utilize torrents. (I know The Decemberists were the first band to ever release a music video via BitTorrent...but Trent has released his past few albums via BitTorrent) He also used the Creative Commons license, which is pretty fucking great.
It's a sad day to see someone who is so prominent in the music industry, and so wanting to steer it in a new direction, to stop making music. (At least this is how it sounds, I mean, NIN is already just Trent...I don't think he's going to go solo from himself or something)
