At least the Haruhi manga is finally being released in English. Volume 1 has been out for a little while now, and 2 and 3 will be coming in March and June.
On a side note, when the preview of the light novels describes Haruhi as having a mouth "like an upside-down V," it makes me think of Yue from Negima.
