im sure some of you have caught it by now. i plan on surviving. not just nuclear war, not just the end of days, and not just a possible mccain administration.

i plan on surviving everything until the day my insides tick out.



i want to buy this, or something like it. its a huge piece of land up in idaho, which is some of the best farmland in the world. the reason im posting this here, is i want to know who will go in on it with me. the cost is around 400K, and by the time things get worse, ill be prepared to put up at least a quarter of it, probably more.

i know people who know how to farm, i know people who are good with animals, and i know people with guns. i know how to build things, and ill be putting a lot of money into this endeavor.

right now i need someone who knows about engineering, forestry, or just anything useful i probably havent thought of yet.

I'd help you out but I have no special skills, no physical mutations, no nothing! It appears I will never be more than a mere web designer. What kind of animals will you have?

If I was older and had money, I would in a heartbeat, but I'm still legally bound to my mom, and my family is shit poor, so I wouldn't be able to help with the cost in a couple years anyway.

But this would be so awesome. I know a little bit about forestry, since my family did actually have a house in the mountains for most of my life, and I've gone camping and backpacking with my dad many times. Wilderness survival is well-drilled into my brain. I'm sure I could help with the other useful things you haven't thought of too, in lots of ways that I can't currently think of, and wouldn't be able to think of until it was necessary...

I don't know though. It would be amazing anyway.
