Some old pack veterans could remember this one, but most of you probably have no idea... So lets play.
==================================================
RULES:
* Choose your character among those available. You are free to roleplay him (or her) in any way you like, but I urge you to consider the roleplaying cues. At first your Deity has a humanoid featureless shape. You are free to describe him physically in any way you like (being gods they are able to change their appearance with ease). If you have any doubts about how your powers could work, feel free to ask me.
* You can use you powers in any way you can think of. Be creative. What you say that happens, happens. That is, except when you enter into a conflict with another player (he wants something to happen, you want something else to happen, those two things can't happen simultaneously). In those cases, you'd have to compromise: the first player to post states something that falls in between the two narrations. If consensus is reached, that is what happens. If not, the second player describes what happens (as he feels is more like something in between). If consensus can not be reached by then, the GM (me) will have to step in and declare what happens. The GM always has the last word.
* Never decide something about other player's actions. If you narrate something like "he cowers in fearful cowardice of my uber supremacy", that narration is vetoed. That is, it didn't happen. (Maybe that was the character just daydreaming...) You can narrate about your actions or about NPCs' (and the environment) actions. Never about someone else's.
* You are recomended to use the following etiquette codes:
In character actions in bold.
Possible outcomes while on conflict in italics.
* Thoughts and ideas between asterisks *
(Out of character actions between brackets.)
* No SPAM allowed. Funny and comical remarks or actions are allowed. Senseless, offensive or illogical stuff is not.
* Have fun, people. It is a game.
The rules are simple. This is a Free Form Board RPG. That is, you are free to do as you like with your character. As long as you follow the rules and play seriously, I, as the GM, won't be needing to VETO what you did or said. I really encourage you to be as descriptive as able (although not all of us are Professional Writers, so don't be afraid of just trying).
The idea is to build a nice and interesting story between everyone, so try to keep this fun for everyone else.
CHARACTERS:
You will have to pick between one of the following possible characters:
Terra
Titaness of Earth. She has power over earth, rocks, sand and pretty much everything related to the Earth Element.
Cues: Stable, stubborn, thinker, strong willed.
Ignus
Titan of Fire. He has power over fire, flames, heat and pretty much everything related to the Fire Element.
Cues: Passionate, warm, sadistic, irresponsible.
Eolos
Titan of Air. He has power over air, wind, gases and pretty much everything related to the Air Element.
Cues: Shallow, changing, fast, impulsive.
Aqua
Titaness of Water. She has power over water, ice, clouds and pretty much everything related to the Water Element.
Cues: Cold, adaptive, fickle, emotional.
Eros
Titan of Life. He can create any form of life, regenerate and resurrect any living subject.
Cues: Easy going, positive, active, idealistic.
Thanatos
Titan of Death. He can kill any form of life (except other Titans), degenerate, age or corrupt any life form.
Cues: Depressive, negative, passive, pragmatic.
Logos
Titan of Knowledge. He can summon any knowledge past, present and future (just the knowledge). He can tell lies from true facts (this is not a passive power, you have to purposefully state you are trying to discern the truth from what has been said/written/recorded).
Cues: Inquisitive, curious, manipulative, open minded.
Chronos
Titan of Time. He can alter the space-time continuum at will (basically being able to teleport and alter the flow of time).
Cues: Patient, protective, wise, witty.
Legius
Titan of Order. He can alter the nature of the physical and metaphysical laws relating something (for example, make a being react to gravity as if he was twice as heavy, change the shape of a mountain or make ghosts corporeal).
Cues: Noble, obsessive, intolerant, fair.
Entropy
Titaness of Chaos. She can exchange the physical or metaphysical nature of two different entities (make gold as heavy as grass, and grass as heavy as gold).
Cues: Selfish, adaptative, overactive, cruel.
Draconnis
Titan of Sentience. He can give and increase any living subject sentience (the ability to think for itself) and free will (the ability to make choices).
Cues: Wise, curious, rebellious, persuasive.
Innova
Titaness of Change. She can instigate or diminish the pace of any sort of change (evolution, aging, erosion, feelings, growth).
Cues: Impatient, free spirited, whimsy, friendly.
Special note: The only way you can get more powers is absorbing another Titan's. That can be either willingly (the player gives up playing the game and gives you his powers) or through fight (you "kill" the titan and consume his soul, the player can choose to keep "playing" as a voice in the consumer's head, telling him stuff and driving him nuts, and if the player haven't been very active at the forum lately, they can even take some actions on his behalf - the "consumed" soul actually took control of the other titan's body for a while).
==================================================
So if you want to play pick a character and post which character you want to play, how does he (or she) looks like (the default is a humanoid featureless shape) and post any question you might have about how you might use his powers.
We can start playing as soon as there are a minimum of 4 active players. The rest of the characters will be played by me. If you feel like joining later, you are allowed to, as long as you do your homework (read all the previous posts). You may then pick one of the "unused" characters, up to the point where I had been playing them.
After those who are going to play post their choices, I will narrate the introduction. You will keep on from there.
