I do not believe that HTML is a programming language. That is why it is HTML H-yper T-ext M-arkup L-anguage. It does not say anything about Programming language. HTML is just used to create the look of the webpage, not how it will interact with the user. Sure, you can make a button and call it interacting with the user, but, with only HTML, the button doesn't do ANYTHING. That is why HTML should be taken off the "Programming" form, an put in it's own forum, along with CSS. If you want to do programming, it should be on something that can DO something.

While your argument is valid, HTML and CSS are similar enough to programming to be put in this forum, it's not like this place is a huge and bustling full of programmers.
Plus who really wants to discuss something as simple as those?

Although since you bothered about it...I'll take out the referance to HTML in the description. And I guess HTML and CSS talk would be better suited for Web Design anyways.

HTML is programming even though it's not a programming language. It programs the page to look like something through specialized text mark-up.

There's a differences between coding and programming. HTML does not create programs, it creates webpages. JavaScript, on the other hand, creates programs within webpages. It uses OOP, classes and functions.
This is beside the point. This topic is pointless to say the least. There's less than ten topics here, and does this place really need another baron forum? There was no point in creating this topic and I would regard it as spam. You're not helping, no one else is complaining, so don't go on about it. Don't fix what isn't broken.

HTML is a programming language, even if it's a visual modifier language, it's still programming code.
I would say it's even more programming to HTML then to .NET :P
