Most places (Especially in creative fields) don't care for degrees and certifications so much as experience and past work. However, just because they don't specifically look for any degrees in particular, doesn't mean that it doesn't help. But your writing samples will be far more effective.

I know this is the case for a lot of people and is a pivotal moment in the series, but I just didn't feel it. I don't know what it was, but when Dobby died I just though, "Oh well, at least he did something badass in the end." I claim authority on such issues having taken a Harry Potter Class.

Did you take this class before or after reading the last book? I expect you would have to distance yourself from the subject matter in order to view it objectively. It is only natural that you would be less affected by these fictional characters than you would have otherwise.

If it's this early in the semester and the most difficult ones shouldn't it just be a pretest? At any rate, being on here isn't going to help. >.>

Eh, you're forgetting I'm on the block plan. so we're halfway done with the class; tomorrow is the midterm. It just so happens that the most difficult part of the course is near the middle out of the selection of chapters we're studying.

and did you go to NDK? i had a few friends go down there. i can't remember their cosplays, but one of them was taokaka from blazblue.

Yeah, NDK. And I did see a taokaka or too... One of them was way too young to be in college though, but the other one was really, really well done. Maybe that was her? And what kept you? Too busy?

Her cosplay looked pretty amazing, so yeah it probably was her. I could have made time for it, but I decided it wasn't worth the money, especially after going to AX just a few months back.
