Ready Player One now has a director. I didn't even know it was getting adapted into a movie. I am excite!

Decided to make a new topic for this because there's no trailer yet, and I certainly didn't want to put it in "will most likely be terrible."

EDIT: And the screenplay is being co-written by the author of the book.

That's on my Kindle waiting to be read. Maybe I'll have to actually read it, now...

Speaking of sci fi books becoming movies, I just finished The Martian, which is apparently being turned in to a movie staring Matt Damon and directed by Ridley Scott. Not sure this is the best combination for this book, but I'm intruiged.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I'm hoping suicide squad will be great.

I really, really don't expect it to be.

I'm with you there. The marketing is spot-on, at least. Let's just hope they didn't let Zach Snyder anywhere near it.
