It is so so good. I am very glad that NBC isn't the only one producing this show it would have gone the way of Community by now.
Anyone else watch it? I believe it's on Hulu and the first season is free on Amazon Prime. It's a show by Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies, Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me) and it's every bit as awesome as his previous shows. It looks amazing, probably the best looking show to exist on TV right now.
I will say the first season is a bit slow. I think most shows are like that though, and it kind of is worsened by the fact that everyone knows who Hannibal Lecter is, but it's not bad. But once it starts to kick it in gear in the latter half of the season it's so so sooo good. Even if you know stuff about the books/movies it's worth a watch, because it takes a lot of liberties with the story as well as it being unique. The first three seasons (which it will have as of the other day) are supposed to take place before Red Dragon, with the three seasons following being adaptions of the books, and the last (seventh) being a new ending.
