Haven't yet, but planning to ASAP.
The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I like how they're really telling the history and stories of scientific discoveries and the people who made them happen. It's something I've always wanted to really get into. They should teach this stuff in high school history.

...I, uh...I liked NOVA.
Well that's how I spent my evenings as a kid.
Cut them some slack. They can't do the big bang every week.
The Halley story was great because it pointed out that neener-neener moments happen even between scientists of reputation when someone gets proven wrong or gets called out on their BS. Albeit, more civilly now.
Besides, they built up the Halley prediction to show the animation at the end of the Milky Way collision with the Andromeda galaxy. That was cool.

And no matter what your rating of the show is, last night's episode gets +1 for the voice of Patrick Stewart.

I think they're trying to appeal to it by at least acknowledging some of the monumental physicists had faith of some kind. They at least pointed out Newton trying to crack the Bible "code."
