Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Dreamcast Boot Up
There's more but I can't be bothered looking right now. These are all nostalgic as fuck for me when I hear them. The Ice Cube song I just liked before San Andreas but now I just like it for another reason. Also Dreamcast baby!
Edit - I cut out like 5 songs because there's a cap on how many Youtube videos you can post.. & it's only 2!?

When I was a little kid I had a SNES and my father played it a lot. Specifically stuff like Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, and Illusion of Gaia. I was really too young to understand how to play any of the games, but watching my father play them always made me so excited. I don't remember ever getting too far in any of those games when I was five. I couldn't get pass Onett in Earthbound because I didn't know what to do, I wouldn't leave the carnival in Chrono Trigger because I was too scared, but VI I remember at least getting to South Figaro when I was young, which was an accomplishment in itself.
Anyways, VI's music always inspires all this nostalgic feeling of when I was younger watching my dad play these games and really wishing I could too.

Wind Waker has my favorite Zelda soundtrack by far. My only wish is that it was recorded by a live orchestra. Zelda music deserves this much. I haven't played Skyward Sword, but that's one of the things that excited me about that game. But I don't think Koji Kondo was involved.
I mean...compare the score to another game of that generation that uses a full orchestra (which also makes me feel pretty nostalgic)
Of course, I don't know, old MIDI and 8 bit sounds and what not can make me feel just as nostalgic. A friend and I were just bumping some mad Megaman 3 jams the other day.
Edit: Whoa, this remixes a few themes from Beyond Good and Evil and what sounds like something from Chrono Trigger. That would do it.

I miss you Seth.../>Lately I've been thinking a lot about Illusion of Gaia, the game and music, and the ending track in particular. For some reason until this thread I kinda forgot I could probably youtube the music. And I was able to. Thanks for the thought.

This always makes me super nostalgic. And I just learned this game turned 10 years old at the beginning of this month.

I suspect I'll be alone with this next one, but Ultima 6 is the first PC RPG I've ever played, though I suppose I technically did play the SNES version (I was rather lacking in a PC back then). It had all of the features that would later define what I look for in a game: character building, an interesting setting, and most of all, exploration. I loved this game.
